Fundraising Event Coordination Manager

Looking for a Full-Time Fundraising Event Coordination Manager. Looking for a strong leader who has high attention to detail, willing to go above & beyond to execute the event successfully, great at collaborating with peers, and a positive associate in the office. Seeking someone who is eager to learn and grow with our event production company. Elite OC Productions is a full-service event production company based in Orange County that specializes in innovative design and concepts, venue transformation and event management. We plan and produce a wide variety of events from non-profit fundraising galas and private dinners, to fashion shows and corporate functions. We are a tight-knit group and looking for someone who is positive, attentive to detail, takes initiative and can work well together as a team!

This full-time position in person Monday through Friday, in addition to working events on the weekends.

​

Looking for the position to begin in January 2024

​

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Client liaison related to all event fundraising details: schedule meetings with clients, conduct meeting presentations, present innovative design ideas, create meeting agendas, type meeting minutes, and lead on follow-up tasks. 

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and guest attendees at events.

  • Plan and execute all fundraising components and designs for the day of the event

  • Lead the planning process and execution process.

  • Provide creative fundraising ideas and fundraising design concepts.

  • Lead auction inventory prior to the event and registration preparation

  • Proofread all titles, descriptions, restrictions, etc. to ensure all information is 100% accurate.

  • Lead the day of the event fundraising details from set-up, overseeing volunteers, handling volunteer orientations, check-in & check-out of guest processes and break-down of all fundraising components and signage.

  • Familiar with online bidding platforms, such as GiveSmart, GreaterGiving, Auctria,  etc. is preferred but not necessary

  • Responsible for uploading auction item descriptions, pledge descriptions, etc. onto the mobile bidding site with client provided final documents

Skills:

  • Quick learner, problem solver and strong organization skills

  • High attention to detail and willing to review all tasks at hand thoroughly to ensure there are no or very few mistakes

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Excellent communication skills (Written and Verbal)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Avery Labels

  • Proficient in Google Suite Programs: Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, etc.

  • Proficient in file exchange tools such as Dropbox, Zip Files, etc.

  • Proficient in video conferencing platforms including but not limited to Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, etc.

  • Ability to learn Elite OC Productions culture and represent Elite OC Productions

  • Work closely & collaborate with the Elite OC Productions team to produce successful events

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the events and/or non-profit industry

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree

You are not responsible for fundraising

Must have the ability to drive to site visits and on-site to events

Pay is based on experience
